The Vancouver Convention Centre has been recognized as Best Convention Center (100,000 – 500,000 square feet of exhibit space) by EXHIBITOR Magazine

The Vancouver Convention Centre and Tourism Vancouver are honoured to welcome 14,000 Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence experts for the 33rd Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS) taking place in Vancouver from December 8 – 14, 2019.

The Vancouver Convention Centre has been selected as a 2020 Center of Excellence by EXHIBITOR Magazine, recognizing North America’s best convention centres for trade shows and events. The facility, owned and operated by B.C. Pavilion Corporation, is the only Canadian venue to be part of the first annual Centers of Excellence list.

The Vancouver Convention Centre’s ‘living roof’ is now receiving its annual trim with landscapers hard at work mowing the six acres of elevated grass. This is the only formal mowing conducted on the roof each year and it will take approximately two weeks to complete.

From Terrace to Campbell River, over 1,100 residents from 80 communities across the province accepted the challenge.

Residents from across British Columbia – from Castlegar to Parksville to Burnaby - are invited to take part in Convention Quest, a digital scavenger hunt set within the Vancouver Convention Centre’s website that tasks participants to answer 10 questions about its history through 10 years of bringing people together through meetings since opening the West building in April 2009.

You’re invited! The Vancouver Convention Centre is once again hosting its community Open House on Canada’s birthday, July 1, 2019. This year, the event will be held in the West building’s massive exhibition levels featuring 311,500 ft2 of exhibit space.
