Vancouver, BC (June 25, 2019) – You’re invited! The Vancouver Convention Centre is once again hosting its community Open House on Canada’s birthday, July 1, 2019. This year, the event will be held in the West building’s massive exhibition levels featuring 311,500 ft2 of exhibit space.
From 11 am to 5 pm, experience a variety of family-friendly activities and displays and learn about the history of the facility through ten years of bringing people together through meetings since the opening of the West building.
Home to incredible events including Women Deliver 2019 and the annual TED Conference, the world’s only double LEED Platinum-certified convention centre has welcomed delegates from across the world through its doors and has seen its exhibition halls transformed into everything from broadcast studios during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, an elegant banquet dinner to a tremendous dinosaur park.
All indoor Open House activities will run from 11 am to 5 pm in the exhibition level of the West building (1055 Canada Pl.) on July 1. Highlights include:
Free indoor family-friendly yoga with lululemon: lululemon will host two free indoor yoga sessions at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Guests are encouraged to bring mats; limited supply provided.
