Vancouver, BC (July 25, 2019) – Join the Vancouver Convention Centre on Jack Poole Plaza throughout August for the launch of its community summer concert series featuring great music, good vibes and one breathtaking view.

Beginning on Friday, August 2 the Convention Centre is launching Summer Sounds on Jack Poole Plaza, a music experience taking place across four weeks in August. Each event will run on Friday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM and feature a local musician taking the stage to perform amidst a stunning Coal Harbour backdrop.

With a line-up of exceptional musicians that includes The New Shackletons, Ten Souljers, The Shenanigans and Cassandra Maze, attendees can anticipate a vibrant mix of sound and style that beautifully reflects Vancouver’s diverse local music community.

Summer Sounds on Jack Poole Plaza is a free, all ages event. Light refreshments will be available for purchase as well as a featured beer garden for attendees 19 years of age or older.

Please note that there will be a week break between events on Friday, August 16, with the series continuing as scheduled on August 23.
