The minimum call out for Vancouver Convention Centre staff is 4 hours. Changes, additions, or cancellations to staffing must be made 48 hours prior to the start time of the requested shift (not including weekends or holidays) otherwise a minimum charge of 4 hours per staff will be incurred. Staffing additions made less than 48 business hours prior to a shift will incur additional charges. Cancellations during shifts will result in charges for the balance of each shift.
Depending on the event staffing level required for your event, supervisor and relief positions may also be required. Event staff requirements should be determined in conjunction with your Event Manager at least one month prior to your move-in date. Please contact your Event Manager for more information.

40-yard open bins are available for waste disposal at a rate of $1,650.00 per bin ordered up to 21 days prior to move-in, a rate of $1,897.50 and a rate of $1,725.00 per bin up to 48 hours prior to move-in, and a rate of $2,475.00 ordered 48 hours or less prior to move-in.
Additional labour charges will apply for staff to sort waste and ensure landfill material is not comingled with recyclable metal and wood products.
Cleaning charges for events with unique aspects will be assessed on a per-event basis and quotes will be provided accordingly.

Plumbing Services

Due to limited access to water sources on the exhibit floor, it is important to include your Event Manager in any plans for plumbing requirements. Bell Canada is the exclusive supplier of telecommunications and technology services at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Event rates are up to three days; exhibitors/booths are on a per booth basis. Rental equipment is the property of the facility and must be returned to the technical services staff; charges apply for equipment not returned. Rates do not include taxes and are subject to change without notice. Please advise suppliers and contractors of our exclusivity policies.
