Executive Chef Mark Massicotte

Internationally trained Certified Chef de Cuisine Mark Massicotte has been with the Vancouver Convention Centre since 2006. His passion for travel has taken him around the world discovering new flavours and experiences that he transposes into his culinary vision, making him a formidable presence within one of the top culinary destinations in the country that he calls home, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Along with his team, he proudly continues the tradition of operating a “scratch” kitchen using only the finest and freshest ingredients, creating local and BC styled menus with his international flare.  

Chef Massicotte brings to the Convention Centre and LOT185 Café + Wine Bar experience from all avenues of the industry for both service and culinary arts. He has held leadership positions in restaurants, hotels and private golf clubs. Along with his Certified Chef de Cuisine papers, he holds a Bachelor of Hospitality Degree and is a Certified Sommelier through Court of Master Sommeliers – Americas. Chef Massicotte is the second in Canada to be recognized as both a Certified Chef de Cuisine and a Certified Sommelier.
