  • Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo
    May 3 - 6 (East Building)

    Visit the Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo will be May 3-6 2012, Thursday-Sunday throughout the Marathon Weekend and be introduced to products and services for runners and health conscious consumers. This is an exciting new venue that is 30% larger than previous years with a stunning new downtown location. Here you will find products and information from the Health, Sports & Lifestyle exhibitors, as well as, package pickup.

  • The Aesthetic Meeting 2012
    May 3 - 8 (West Building)

    The Aesthetic Meeting is your passport to higher education, and this year will be more interactive, with a diverse array of dynamic sessions. There are over 200 technical and scientific exhibits, hands-on cadaver workshops and live demonstrations, and you’ll learn proven techniques for both managing and growing your practice through social media and practice marketing sessions.

  • BMO Marathon
    May 6 (East Building)

    The BMO Vancouver Marathon is wholly organized and operated by the Vancouver International Marathon Society, a non-profit, volunteer run organization. To make the BMO Vancouver Marathon a reality, the Society relies on a dedicated group of volunteer Board of Directors and over 4,000 invaluable support volunteers, with a single common thread – a love of Wellness and the sport of long distance running.

  • Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Magnetics Conference 2012
    May 7 - 11 (East Building)

    INTERMAG is the premier conference on all aspects of applied magnetism, and all members of the international scientific communities interested in new developments in magnetism and associated technologies are invited to attend and submit their latest findings to INTERMAG 2012.

  • Vancouver International Tequila Expo
    May 12 (East Building)

    The Vancouver International Tequila Expo aims to raise the profile of Mexico’s most famous spirit with British Columbians and with all Canadians. Tequila has a Denomination of Origin just like those of Cognac, Armagnac, Champagne, and so many of our other beverages of choice – with intimate connections to local culture, traditions, and history in their respective regions.

  • YTV’s The Next Star 2012
    May 12 (East Building)

    It takes more than pitch perfect pipes to be a superstar. That’s why The Next Star is not your typical talent search—The Next Star scours the nation for six young hopefuls 15 and under with the talent and the determination to make it through superstar boot camp! Our panel of judges focus on mentoring this fresh crop of new talent – which means NO eliminations. Instead, they will be put through a series of assignments and experiences, to see if they’ve got what it takes to handle the life of a superstar. These budding pop stars will learn everything from working with music producers and vocal coaches to writing their own hit songs, to learning the tricks of the stage. Viewers alone will decide which contender is awarded the Grand Prize at the series finale — not to mention bragging rights as Canada’s Next Star!

  • Interdependence 2012 Global Conference and Exposition

    As part of the 25th Anniversary of Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour, the Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) and the Rick Hansen Institute (RHI) are co-hosting a global conference and expos to inspire collaboration towards a healthier and more inclusive world.

  • Heffel Art Auction
    May 17 (West Building)

    Heffel’s semi-annual live Canadian fine art auctions are unique because they are the only Canadian auctioneers who pamper their bidders. Rather than have their guests sitting in a dusty warehouse, bidders at a Heffel live auction event sit in the luxurious ballroom, complete with complimentary gourmet cookies and coffee, black tie ambience and a young, bright staff to assist. They pay attention to the little things that make a difference.

  • 60th American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics
    May 19 - 24 (East & West Buildings)

    American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) was formed in 1969 to promote and disseminate knowledge of mass spectrometry and allied topics. More than 3500 scientists involved in research and development are members of the organization. They come from academic, industrial, and governmental laboratories and share interest in advancing techniques and instrumentation in mass spectrometry and in fundamental research in chemistry, geology, biological science, and physics.

  • e-Health 2012: Innovating Health e-Care

    Now in its 12th year, the conference continues to offer proactive top-quality learning and an opportunity to network with organizations and people that value quality health information as well as effective integrated system solutions. Since its inception, the Conference has attracted a steadily increasing attendance, now upwards of 1,500+ delegates. The Trade Show provides an excellent opportunity for direct access to members of the health informatics community and has sold out for the past 3 years.
