Candelabrum

This artwork is a juxtaposition of internal and external worlds. An electronic Chandelier with cyan LED bulbs hangs from a sleek modern street lamppost that projects out over the green roof. The brilliance of each bulb is directly related to the changing exterior moisture (and to a lesser extent wind), as monitored by resistance sensors incorporated into the metal Chandelier frame. In this way, the Chandelier bulbs will glow brighter in foggy and rainy conditions, and flicker slightly with the wind. On clear and calm days, the work will show little variation.
